One word that comes to mind when I think of these two is, laughter. From the first moment they laid eyes on each other at their “First Look”, through the ceremony on the alter until the cake cutting at the end of the night, these two had each other laughing and smiling through every moment of their day.
Most of our weddings start off with a little pre-wedding at a hotel or house, but the fact that good formal pictures were most important to these two, they opted out of those details and allowed us plenty of time to take advantage of formal pictures taken in City Park.
The two met under the oak trees of City Park, where they laughed and smiled and checked out how good each other looked in their wedding attire! We then headed to “The Bridge”, which is where Nicholas proposed to Elaine, which now has another memory for them to remember it by. Our last stop was under the large columned pavilion, in which we met both sides of the family and knocked out the family formals. We LOVE it when couples choose this option, because it allows them to get all the formality over, when they are fresh and excited and we don’t have to hurry up and rush to get everyone to the reception. The flow of the ceremony to party is flawless when there isn’t a need to stop and take pictures.
We then headed off to Our Lady of the Rosary, in which our mouths dropped when we walked in!!!! It was a STUNNING beautiful church, with every photographers dream church lighting! After a beautiful catholic mass, the guests headed down the street to eat drink and be merry at Ralph’s on the Park.
Elaine and Nicholas, we know you will love your gallery as much as we loved photographing you two! May you always continue to make each other laugh….. and we hope you have another friend who gets engaged soon, and we will see everyone again at their wedding!!!!
