“Actually the best gift you could have given her was a lifetime of adventures…. -Lewis Carroll Alice and Wonderland.
Though the forecast for the wedding day was not looking very promising for the outside ceremony, Madison brought her very own sunshine that radiates in EVERY single image that we took of her that day. Seriously, when scrolling through their gallery, all I see is a twinkle in her eye and her cheeks grinning from ear to ear. This was a true fairytale wedding, with Madison who was the character Alice, from Alice and Wonderland at Disney. Her attendants were nothing short of ordinary either, as one was Snow White’s Prince Charming along with her other attendants who wore beautiful gowns that were a light shade of green. Just the many touches of green on her St Patrick’s day wedding.
Ryan, her real life Prince Charming was so calm, cool and collected as we hung out with him and his groomsman as they goofed off and got ready for the real life fairytale wedding. We were able to knock out lots of formal pictures in the beautifully decorated courtyard of The Southern Hotel. As we all anxiously kept checking our phones at the radar and kept a close eye on the sun that kept on peeking through the clouds. It was certainly a small portion of good luck that was found on that day.
The radar was clear and we were good to go as Madison was walked down the aisle with her dad and her mom. I seriously don’t think her smile came off her face the entire ceremony. You could just tell how happy the two of them were to be getting married!
After the ceremony, the two quickly did a few formal pictures before sunset and they were welcomed into the reception area with a warm welcome from the band, Four Unplugged, along with all their guests. The party kept going strong as St Pattys day favors were passed around the dance floor. The two then finished the night strong, by leading their guests through the hotel doing the traditional Second line!
Madison and Ryan, we cannot thank you enough for allowing us to be apart of your fairytale wedding and as every good fairytale ends….. “and they lived happily ever after”.
